WOW!!!!  At last we know.  Guns don't kill people.

People kill people...with guns  Got that?  WITH GUNS.

So now are we clear on this???  People kill people with guns. 

They kill other people.

 They kill themselves.

On Purpose.  By accident.  Using guns.

And rather easily, as it happens,

which is a BIG part of why they were invented: to make it easier to kill.

NOW.....That's the reality.

As reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2009 (more recent data may be available at the time you read this), guns took the lives of 31,347 Americans in homicides, suicides and unintentional shootings. This is the equivalent of more than 85 deaths each day and more than three deaths each hour.

NO ONE...we mean this...NO ONE EVER SAID GUNS KILL PEOPLE, and left it at that!

Do an online search.   Plenty of folks say, "Guns don't kill people.  People kill people," but we couldn't find anyone who boldly asserted the first part alone, that "Guns kill people."  No one.  Nada.  Nary a soul.

By the way, we call this a "Straw Man argument," because no real person said that guns, in and of themselves, kill people.

Also, by the way, if you do an online search, you'll find plenty of folks who say, as we do, "People kill people with guns."

Does this mean people shouldn't have guns?  Not necessarily.  That's not the point.  Remember, we're looking at reality here.  And the reality is: People kill people with guns, rather often and rather easily with guns.

We'll end (for now) with this, something someone who's concerned about gun control sent us.  We thinks it's kinda funny.  Maybe you will, too.  Pardon the extreme language.  We actually toned it down a bit.
